Our research

Our group investigates how far quantum physics applies beyond the microscopic domain, where it has been successfully tested and confirmed, and into the domain of large systems. We use techniques from information theory, thermodynamics and many-body physics to bridge the gap between the micro and macro worlds. We also study the transition between quantum and classical physics, and explore the territory beyond quantum physics in more general probabilistic theories.
